An in app upgrade from free to $9.99 was supposed to allow me to hear guitar chords...nothing! I am then prompted to upgrade to PRO for $9.99...maybe that will do it. Nope. Now I have two identical programs side by side for $9.99 each! I am willing to pay for software that has been developed well. $20 is no problem if it works. There are far too many $.99 apps that dont work and will never be supported with a single upgrade to fix a bug, let alone add a new feature or deal with an iOS upgrade. Those are a waste of everyones time and money. This song writing app does far less than Notes. At least in Notes I can insert a voice memo or picture. The only thing this does is allow me to drag and drop a chord onto the page...but not having perfect pitch, I dont know what that note sounds like without looking it up in someway elsewhere. Waste of my money at this point. Hopefully there will be an upgrade to get the guitar sound accessible or working.
The ability to write your own music is fantastic. You can do free range writing or other things such as just doing an instrumental song.
